Blur played to an almighty 55,000 fans last night, at the first of their two sold out Hyde Park shows in London.
Taking to the stage, they kicked off their set with 'She's So High', their first ever single taken from 1991's debut album 'Leisure'. They then whipped the crowd into a frenzy with 'Girls and Boys'.
The set that followed was a career spanning history of Blur, playing hits from all 7 albums, as well as belting out more obscure but previous live favourites such as 'Oily Water' and 'Advert.'
The newly reformed four piece looked radiant at the reaction they received from the crowd as they performed while the sun set over the park. Frontman Damon told the crowd how he wrote hit single 'Parklife' after being inspired by sitting in the very same Hyde Park watching "pigeons and people and all that stuff."
